HEROtsc Benefits: Local Employee Councils

We’re not just here to keep customers happy – we’re here to make sure that all of our people get the most from work too. That’s why we run Local Employee Councils, where nominated employee representatives get together to discuss any local issues of the day. So, whether they’re discussing business performance, investment plans, upcoming changes or development plans, they’re there to make sure that all of our people have a voice in the business.

While the Local Employee Council will meet every month or so, every six months the National Employee Council gets together – with selected members from around the country meeting our Executive Team to discuss the big issues around the whole business.

It’s the friends you make at work that adds a little fun to each and every day at work – but we have more than a fun, sociable team in each of our centres. In most sites, you’ll find an employee-led social committee, there to arrange all sorts of events, from fun days on site and nights out, to competitions and a host of other activities.
